What a wonderful display of natural beauty! I especially love the contrast between the top and the bottom on the flower. It allows one's eyes to roam over the entire photograph, seeing each individual drop sparkle, while, at the same time, lets one see the whole picture in its entirity. The water droplets bring out the wonderfully expressive, yet simple, color of the flower. As for origniality, the idea of water droplets on a flower is not spectacularly original, however, the way you use this idea, in such a magnificent way, is absolutely stunning. Had I taken this picture, I would have made sure some of the drops werent as "blending" into others, if that makes sense at all, it's slightly distracting from the picture as a whole. [If not, message me and Ill let you know what I mean ] Quite simply; you have done a magnificent job on this picture, blending originality with a common concept, bringing about a familiar, yet spectacular image. Bravo, keep up the good work
Simply put, everything about this image amazes me. The idea of a dark background with a single object shown in light is always a good way to emphasize the subject. Furthermore, the way in which the light is reflected in the drops of water keeps the image interesting and sets it above other images like this. What impresses me most about this is the darks and lights shown in this photo. The use of the dark background along with the shadows seen on the petals could give the image an eerie undertone. However, the predominant colour in this image is warm and inviting, and so the viewer is compelled to examine and appreciate each detail. All of these elements add up to a stunning and inspiring image.
